Meet the faces behind LBV care of Joss Sackler.

Joss Sackler, Founder

LBV (French for: Les bouledogues vigneronnes or 'Wine-Making Bulldogs') is a non-partisan, non-conformist and open-minded culture club for women to celebrate wine, food, culture and design via a series of ongoing calendar events.

Sackler is the daughter of Canadian diplomats, mother of three and lives in New York City. Her wide range of interests and achievements is diverse and unique. She holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics and is currently serving her term as the President of the Columbia School Linguistic Society, an academic association who framework she worked under during her doctoral studies. She speaks four languages: English, French, Spanish and Farsi. Additionally, Joss is a threat assessor by training and her research focuses on the risk assessment of violent threats made by the Mexican Cartels. Joss is an avid adventurist--she has completed four marathons including New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles and the Hamptons. She is a target shooter, a rock climber, and a mountaineer. She has successfully summited two of the worlds seven summits (Mt. Elbrus, Carstensz) and a failed attempt at Mt. McKinley.


Joss is a Certified Sommelier (level 2 of 4) with the Master Court of Sommeliers. In 2017, she was the first woman to be inducted into men's wine society, Commanderie des Cotes de Rhone; as well as, one of the few women in the Commanderie de Bordeaux and the Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin Sous-Commanderie de New York. Sackler immediately recognized a void in the existing social structure of New York wine societies, which resulted in the launch of her own initiative, LBV. LBV's nascence occurred in reaction to the notable fact that women were highly underrepresented in traditional wine societies.

During New York Fashion Week in February 2019, LBV became the first private community to launch a direct-to-consumer, apparel collection. LBV care of Joss Sackler, representative of her everyday life. The objective of the collection was to offer her members a further sense of community. In July 2019, Joss appointed couture designer Elizabeth Kennedy as Creative Director of the brand in an effort to create an All-American Ready-to-Wear fashion label inspired by the LBV members' multi-faceted accomplishments. The LBV care of Joss Sackler Spring/Summer 2020 under Elizabeth Kennedy will debut during September 2019 New York Fashion Week.


Elizabeth Kennedy is a classically trained designer

with a BFA in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design. Beginning at the age of 22, she secured very senior roles at some of the most esteemed fashion houses including Donna Karan Atelier, J. Mendel, Max Mara and Isaac Mizrahi Couture before launching her eponymous label in 2016. The Elizabeth Kennedy Collection has garnered notable recognition in high caliber publications including Vogue, Vanity Fair, W and Women's Wear Daily. Additionally, the label has a substantial celebrity clientele including Oprah Winfrey, Mind Kaling, Laverne Cox, Viola Davis and Drew Barrymore. Elizabeth is regarded as one of the most skilled talents of her generation, and she credits her success to the many years of experience working for some of the New York fashion industry's most respected designers.

Elizabeth maintains a private client business in tandem with her newly appointed role as Creative Director of the modern Ready-to-Wear brand, LBV care of Joss Sackler.


Johanna Dinardo, Assistant Designer 

Johanna DiNardo is the Assistant Designer at LBV care of Joss Sackler. Johanna received her degree in Fashion Design at Drexel University, an experience which provided her opportunities to study and work in London, and excel in design both technically and creatively. After graduating in 2016, Johanna moved to New York City to begin her career. With a Speciality in evening wear, she has held positions in this sector and has freelanced for various luxury Ready-to-Wear brands. In addition to Womenswear, she has explored Accessory design; Johanna has worked for private clientele and on her own collection. Her personal work has garnered the interest of international media and celebrity stylists. She has showcased in Vancouver Fashion Week, Paris Couture Week, and was featured in Vogue UK. She is an invited member of Eyes on Talents, received by Floriane de Saint Pierre & Associes. 

With an affinity toward luxury, and an innate drive to execute the embodiment of a powerful muse, working within there LBV collection has allowed her to use her talents in an all-encompassing manner, namely, on the exciting vision of the launch for LBV care of Joss Sackler Spring/Summer 2020.

Be Beommo Joe, Patternmaker

Be has spent the last 10 years honing her skills as a creative pattern maker. Studying in London and Milan. She then moved to the US to fulfill her lifelong dream of working in the fashion world of New York. She has since worked in many top New York fashion houses.
