SPRING SUMMER 2022 IS A STUDY OF TWELVE HUMAN EMOTIONS - ANGER, SADNESS, EMPATHETIC PAIN, FEAR, HORROR, JOY, ROMANCE, CRAVING, CALMNESS, ANXIETY, AND RELIEF - CHOSEN TO REFLECT THE STATE OF TUMULT THAT ALL OF US EXPERIENCED OVER THE LAST YEAR.
Color and silhouette are used to express the emotions graphically. Anger is constructed of silk faille and empathetic pain employs more silk faille and a multicolored beaded fringe skirt, while joy is a patent leather and crepe gown with a bright yellow scarf. The collection also features sleeveless suit jackets to portray sadness and calmness, the latter of the two paired with a pleated tailored skirt. Romance is a confection of crinkle organza ruffles. Like the variety and breadth of emotions the collection represents, it features a vast rainbow palette with shades of red, blue, pink, yellow, and metallics punctuated by graphic black and white.
